What is it?

Is a method of authentication that allows citizens, through email and password, to authenticate themselves in different portals and websites of the Public Administration, to carry out services in a secure way.

As a requirement, the user must have an account on the State Technological and Private Network (RTPE) or an account on the Autentika repository.

How to authenticate?

Citizens with Autentika or RTPE accounts can authenticate themselves on public administration portals and websites, using an email address and the corresponding password.

Intuitive & Convenient

Embracing the best practices and current trends in navigation, it allows citizens to access various public administration services with minimal travel.

null Operation

Communication between the service provider and Autentika is ensured by the OpenID Connect protocol, allowing applications to securely verify the users' identity and to retrieve profile information.

Once the user initiates the authentication process in the application, it redirects back to Autentika, where it collects the authentication credentials, according to the chosen authentication method.

Due to the fact that Autentika provides the Single Sign-On mechanism, it only asks the user to authorize the sharing of profile data in case the user is already authenticated in one of the adhering applications.

After authorizing the user to share data, Autentika redirects you back to the application that requested the authentication.
